Trimming video length

You can define a portion of the video you wish to play back by setting trim lengths in the Cloud.

  1. After signing in, click the Settings button on the video you wish to modify.

  2. Go to the Customization menu
  3. Find the Trim section on the Customization page

To trim the video from the beginning:

  1. Enter the time you wish trimmed in hours: minutes: seconds in the LEFT field.

ex. 01:30:15 means "one hour, thirty minutes, and fifteen seconds is cut from the very beginning of the video."

ex2. 00:20:00 means "twenty minutes is cut..."

ex3. 00:00:05 means "five seconds is cut...". RIGHT: 00:01:00 means "one minute is cut from the end of the video."

  2. Click Save.

To trim from the end:

  • Enter in the time you wish trimmed in hours: minutes: seconds in the RIGHT field.

ex. RIGHT: 00:01:00 means "one minute is cut from the end of the video."

To deploy a trimmed video with a set duration (ex. "a two minute video"):

  • Enter in the time you wish trimmed in hours: minutes: seconds in the CENTER field.

NOTE: If you enter in just a center value, it will assume it starts at the 0 second mark.

  • To set when the middle portion begins, also type in a time value in the LEFT field.

ex. LEFT: 00:00:30 + MIDDLE: 00:02:00 means "a two minute video starting at the 30 second mark".

  • To set when the middle portion ends, also type in a time value in the RIGHT field.

ex. MIDDLE: 00:02:00 + RIGHT: 00:00:30 means "a two minute video ending at the 30 second mark."

If you enter values in one field and leave the others blank, the Trim function will automatically calculate what is needed for the other fields.
